Frida & Blu furniture is designed and built for use both indoors and outdoors. Our furniture utilises materials that withstand tough weather conditions. All furniture requires regular care to ensure its durability and beautiful aesthetic. This care instruction is provided to help you understand how best to keep your furniture in good condition for years to come.
Our steel frames add weight and strength to the designs. Our premium steel is powder coated to protect the frames from weather conditions.
Wash with soapy water and rinse off with clean water. Do not use abrasive cleaners or brush. For use in coastal areas (breaking surfs) all metal surfaces should be washed regularly to avoid build-up of corrosive salts. Extra protection can be given by applying a Vaseline oil or car wax to the metal frame. When moving the items, please handle them with care, use necessary protective / packaging aids and materials.
Frida & Blu’s furniture uses eco-friendly recycled and 100% recyclable synthetic fibres. Our cords are high performance materials, UV and fade resistant, however as with all and any other materials there may be slight colour-softening over time under harsh weather conditions.
Avoid wearing sharp or metallic items (e.g. studded belts) which may scratch the frame or snag / break the woven cords. Do not stand on the chair. Avoid smoking, open flames, significant heat sources & candles near the chairs.
Clean with a mild soapy water, applied with a soft brush and rinse with clean water. Do not use any type of abrasive agent or scouring pad, as scratches can remain on the surface. Clean regularly to avoid build-up of dirt and build-up of salts for those in coastal areas.

Whilst thoughtful consideration and thorough testing are given to the materials and finishing of our furniture we do not warrant against chipping, scuffing, fading or corrosion in harsh seaside or urban environments. On occasion minor corrosion spots may appear at spot welds and joints. This does not affect the structural integrity of the product and is not covered by warranty.
